The Nissan Juke is the perfect vehicle for those owners who want their ride to make a statement. Its distinct styling makes the compact crossover SUV look like an elevated coupe. The prominent wheel wells and striking headlamp configuration further add distinction. As summarized by KBB:

"For better or worse, the 2016 Nissan Juke looks like nothing else on the road. Try to describe it, and you're bound to bring up an animal descriptor. Is it a frog? An insect? Whatever, a lot of people think it's downright cool. The front end is an outrageous affair with streaking headlight housings, while its rear is nipped and tucked. From the side, the roofline squats as it moves rearward, accented by color-keyed, integrated rear-door handles that give the 5-door Juke a coupe-like appearance."

A Closer Look at the 2016 Nissan Juke

The Juke backs its dynamic looks with sporty performance. This includes an optional all-wheel drive (AWD) system to ensure solid traction whether quickly navigating down the highway or on a snow-covered road. No matter the surface, all driving situations feel extremely quick thanks to a curb weight of less than 3,000 pounds.

Engine & Transmission

Motivating the compact crossover is a turbo-charged four-cylinder engine good for 188 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque. It's not all about performance, though. Fuel economy continues to be excellent thanks to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) which enables fuel economy figures of 28 miles per gallon in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.*

2016 Nissan Juke Models

Want more? The automaker delivers with the Juke Nismo RS. This variant performs like a sports car, powered by the same engine but tuned to produce an aggressive 215 horsepower and 210 lb.-ft. of torque. The CVT is ditched for a six-speed manual for a more authentic, hands-on experience. All this is coupled with sport-tuned suspension dampers and a free-flowing exhaust for further exhilarating driving performance.

Two special edition "Stinger" models join the Juke lineup for 2016. Siri Eyes Frees, which allows iphone users to access to the popular virtual assistant, is now part of the standard equipment list.

Safety Features

Continuing to provide safety and security in the Juke is a standard rear-view camera. An optional Around View Monitor provides a 360-degree bird's-eye view around the car. There are also upgraded brakes in the Nismo models.
